About Print Gear
I’m Tammy, founder of Print Gear.
My roots in this world are real. I come from a family built around craftsmanship and automotive work. My dad owned U.S. Precision Sheet Metal, so I grew up around tools, skill, and the kind of hands-on work that teaches you grit early.
At 20 years old, I stepped into paintless dent repair and spent the next 12 years working in the field, traveling across the country and to Hawaii for major rental car refurbishment accounts. In that time, I earned my place in a male-dominated industry and became the first documented female paintless dent repair technician.
That chapter of my life shaped how I work, how I lead, and how I see this culture. It taught me grit, confidence, and pride in doing real work the right way.
After that, I transitioned into real estate and spent 25 years building experience in business, people, and professionalism. But the garage mindset never left me.
Print Gear is my way of coming back to those roots.
